Total Control Systems (TCS) announced that the TCS 3000 Electronic Register now offers Water Sensor and Differential Pressure Gauge integration. Both interfaces are designed to prevent mis-fuelings and are the latest additions to TCS lineup of fueling automation capabilities.
The TCS 3000 integration with EI 1598-compliant water sensors is two-fold. When free water contamination levels exceed a caution threshold, operators are warned on the TCS 3000 Register screen. After fail thresholds are exceeded, deliveries are stopped. Standard thresholds are at 15 and 30 PPM but are scalable according to company policies.
The TCS 3000 integration to differential pressure gauges supports corrected differential pressure monitoring. The TCS 3000 collects sensor readings before and after filtration and corrects differential pressure based on maximum achievable flow rates. If differential pressure exceeds scalable limits, the TCS 3000 shuts down the delivery and locks the fueler out of the next delivery until a supervisor resolves the problem (JIG compliant).
“Aviation refuelers experience a lot of operator turnover,” explained TCS President Dan Murray. “By automatically incorporating more mis-fueling checks directly into the fueling process itself, we are able to limit liabilities while simultaneously lowering turnover costs.”
This integration also extends to the TCS HUB – Total Control Systems’ centralized delivery software. Data can be sent back to the locations from the TCS 3000 registers for trending and analytics. This allows managers to stay on top of resource management and maintenance.
“The TCS 3000 register’s ability to read and correct differential pressure allows us to stay on top of our filter maintenance while comfortably monitoring our equipment from the TCS HUB website,” shares Ron Pattie of SkyFuel Aviation Services.
