What Is It?

DirectLine DL423 Contacting Conductivity Transmitter is designed for outside use where moisture, dust and chemical attack may be present.  The analytical transmitter modules are intrinsically safe in a weatherproof, corrosion-resistant sealed composite enclosure, and are ideal for light industrial applications. Watertight sensor connection ensures reliability in submersion applications.

The analytical transmitter easily integrates into any loop powered monitoring or control system. Its compact, plug-in modular design saves space, and simplifies electrode replacement.

A playing card-sized guide is provided for simple, correct, and consistent calibration and configuration. Integral electronics with local HMI simplifies installation and shortens calibration times.

An IP68 probe cable connector for remote measurement applications assures integrity of the Cell to the analytical transmitter hook up.

How Does It Work?

The DL423 Contacting Conductivity Module accepts a conductivity input from a DL4000 DirectLine conductivity cell.  The module houses the electronics in a weatherproof plastic housing. The display and three button interface allows for fast set-up and operation.

The 4-20 mA output cable easily connects to the module for easy wiring. All DL4000 conductivity cells are remotely mounted, and connected to the electronics module to the conductivity cell via a cable. The module can be mounted on a 2-inch pipe, wall or DIN rail.

​The DirectLine DL423 Contacting Conductivity Transmitter eliminates the need for dedicated analyzers or transmitters, thereby simplifying installation, start-up, operation, and maintenance tasks.
