Honeywell’s OneWireless™ XYR™ 6000 transmitter family includes instruments for accurately measuring (sensing, processing and wirelessly transmitting) temperature, gauge pressure, absolute pressure, differential pressure, valve position, analog signals, digital inputs and digital outputs. The transmitters break down the barriers to monitoring variables in areas where traditional hard-wired transmitters are too costly, difficult or time consuming to implement. XYR 6000 transmitters are designed for applications with no access to power, that are remote or difficult to access, that require frequent changes in instrumentation schemes, or where manual readings are typically taken.
XYR 6000 Discrete I/O
XYR 6000 Discrete Input Transmitter – STXW500 – can be used to convert any dry contact input such as limit level switches into a wireless input, enabling users to reduce costs and improve efficiency by wirelessly monitoring more processes at their plants. It is ideal for applications such as wirelessly monitoring level switches, pump status and system alarms.
XYR 6000 High Level Analog Input Transmitter
Honeywell’s XYR 6000 High Level Analog Input Transmitter accepts a current or voltage input to be wirelessly transmitted as part of the Honeywell OneWireless network. The transmitter enables accurate measurements in remote and hazardous areas, helping users improve efficiency and reduce costs.
The XYR 6000 High Level Analog Input Transmitter family includes:
XYR 6000 Analog Input Transmitter – STIW600 can be used to convert any measurement device with a 4-20mA/1-5 V output into a wireless sensor such as analytical, flow, or level measurements.
XYR 6000 Universal I/O Transmitters – STUW700/701 enables users to bring in high level analog inputs, thermocouple, milli-volt and discrete contact closure inputs wirelessly into their control systems.
STIW600 can be used with measurement devices that have hazard location approval to make a wireless measurement while retaining the Intrinsic Safety rating. The ISA100 – compliant transmitter helps users measure remote access points simply, safe and securely and obtain previously inaccessible information. Integration with Experion® PKS and other control systems provides local measurement accuracy to the system level without the typical analog-to-digital (A/D) and digital-to-analog (D/A) converter inaccuracies.
XYR 6000 Position Sensor
The XYR 6000 Position Sensor is based on the reliable MICRO SWITCH CX series hazardous location limit switch. By combining its proven functionality with the Honeywell OneWireless™ network, the position sensor can be used for remote monitoring applications, including positioners, manual process valves, safety shower notification, tank level indication, door position, louver/damper position, or any other presence, absence or position sensing application where installing wires is inefficient or cost-prohibitive.
The XYR 6000 Position Sensor accurately monitors process parameters in real-time and enhances users’ disaster recovery capability. Users benefit from improved process efficiencies through accurate position monitoring and electronic tagging of all valves in system.
XYR 6000 Pressure
XYR 6000 wireless transmitters provide accurate and reliable measurements of absolute, differential and gauge pressure. The transmitters continue to bring the benefits of a proven technology to a wide spectrum of pressure measurement applications from furnace combustion airflow rate to hydrostatic tank gauging while employing wireless technology to get the signal to the control room.
- XYR 6000 Absolute
XYR 6000 OneWireless Absolute Pressure Transmitter is ideal for applications in which high accuracy in the vacuum range of pressure is needed. Typical applications include low-pressure measurement in vacuum distillation columns.
- XYR 6000 Differential
XYR 6000 OneWireless Differential Transmitters can be used with any primary flow element to provide proven, repeatable flow measurement.
- XYR 6000 Gauge
Honeywell’s XYR 6000 OneWireless Gauge Pressure Transmitters are designed for applications that require high accuracy and reliability for safe and economical operation.
XYR 6000 Temperature Transmitters
Honeywell’s XYR 6000 OneWireless™ Temperature Transmitters offer exceptional accuracy in temperature measurements. The temperature transmitters support a variety of input options to address different user needs and can be used with measurement devices that have hazard location approval to make a wireless measurement while retaining the Intrinsic Safety rating.
XYR 6000 Universal I/O
XYR 6000 Universal I/O Transmitters support a total of three inputs which can be a combination of one to three high level analog inputs (0-20ma/4-20ma), one to two thermocouple inputs, one to two discrete inputs or two inputs and a single discrete output (STUW701 model).
The transmitters are available in two models:
- STUW700 – Supports a total of three inputs which can be a combination of 1-3 high level analog inputs (0-20 mA/4- 20 mA) or 1-2 thermocouple or discrete inputs
- STUW701 – Supports two inputs, which can be a combination of 1-2 high level analog inputs (0-20 mA/4-20 mA), 1-2 thermocouple inputs or 1-2 discrete inputs and one discrete output that can be used to trigger an alarm or turn on/off a device.
